Player Survey/Interview

I am pretty bored these days watching the Hot Stove.  The Tigers are no where at all, and you can call that what you want.

But here is my idea.  Lets put together a survey to send to the Tigers and post what they return here, on blessyouboys.com.

I really hate to use the word survey because it would be more like a written interview.

So, I have been working on some questions to send the players and I will post them here tommorrow when it is not 1 in the morning.

I would like to hear BYBs thoughts on the questions and have you all add some questions that you are curious about.

I think once the players responses start pouring in this will be something that you will want to check out.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of the Bless You Boys writing staff.

Great Idea!
Good work and I hope this works out.  I would love to get some player feedback on the team situation here.

questions
here are the questions that i have come up with so far. (again, please feel free to add some ideas or specific questions that you would like asked)  these are not in any specific order

1 - the baseball season can seem long, so what do you do during the offseason to get away from baseball?

2 - once you start thinking baseball again what does your offseason training schedule look like?

3 - how will your training schedule be altered because of the world baseball classic?

4 - do you feel that there is an excitement among the major leagues about the world baseball classic  or do you feel this is more of another scheme made up by bud selig

5 - from the players you have seen committing to play in the world baseball classic so far, who do you think will have the inside track to the championship

6 - (for pitchers) what is the one pitch that you are most comfortable throwing in any count, your most reliable pitch you could say.

7 - who did you pretend to be when playing sandlot ball as a kid?

8 - have you ever met them, if so what was the meeting like?

9 - what kind of music do you like/ who do you listen to?

10 - what kind of movies are you into?

11 - what can the tiger fans expect from you this year?

12 - how often do you get to blessyouboys.com?

13 - (for batters) which tiger's pitcher would you least like to face

14 - (for pitchers) which tiger's batter would you least like to face

15 - what do you think of the whitesox's offseason moves?

16 - do you feel that the tigers will be a better team under leyland than trammell?

17 - what changes do you expect leyland to bring to the team?

18 - what inspired you to play your current position

19 - do you have any personal goals for the upcoming year?

20 - the yankees are all business, the a's are like a frat house.  what would you say the tigers clubhouse is like?

21 - playstation or xbox

22 - who is the funniest player on the roster

23 - who is the loudest

24 - who is the most generous?

25 - what is your most memorable game that you have played in?

26 - if you weren't in baseball what would you be doing?

27 - if you had to take sides would it be u of m or msu?

so what do you think?

Questions
A couple I thought of:
1-How important is the clubhouse atmosphere to you personally?
2- During 2005, on a scale of 1 to 10, what was the highest and lowest you felt that atmosphere to be?

I'd probably pick out the best 6 to 10 questions or it may look too busy to get a response. Unless they are as bored as we are.

Those are awesome!
How are you going to get those to the players?

If you need any help let me know, and I'll try to come up with something.

getting to players
well, i guess i was assuming that i could send them to comerica since it is tigers headquartes and that they would be distributed to the players from there.  that is what i have done with the pistons before.  but i am open to any suggestions.
