Open Thread 8/29/05: Tigers @ Cleveland

Jeremy Bonderman returns unbroken and unsullied from his wrist's impact with a screaming baseball to take on Scott Elarton and the in-contention Cleveland Indians.  Elarton is still 6'8", like he was last time he threw a complete-game W at the Tigers.  He's the sort of pitcher we should use, however.

That's not a good sequence.  It's the number of runs the Tigers have allowed in their last five (1-4).  If Bonderman is tentative at all, look for the pattern to continue.
