Tigers: Sign Fernando Cabrera now!

He cleared waivers and is now a free agent. He has a great arm out of the pen. Hes young and shows a lot of promise. Hes not going to be worse than Grilli and we dont need 3 LOOGYs. He could potentially be great. Plus the Indians are giving him away for nothing, so, hopefully, we can motivate him with the ability to get them back.

He'll cost nothing and has some good upside.

The Tigers need to go get him now before someone else gets a good steal!

Definitely intriguing...

I noticed his name on the wire, too. Although if Cabrera was any good, you'd think Cleveland would've kept him. (But maybe their bullpen situation's not quite as dire right now...)

Worth a shot...

McBride has options, so we could plug him in automatically...hey, the more relievers we throw out the better chance of finding one that actually can throw strikes and get outs.
