Chien-Ming Wang has dominated the Tigers in his short MLB career:  In four starts against them he has a 3-0 record with a 2.52 ERA, not giving up a homerun in 25 IP. On the season he has only given up seven longballs, including only two at Yankee Stadium.

Pudge gets the day off and Polanco is still suffering from that flu bug. It will take some contributions from everyone to salvage a split in this series.

Walk the line
Bondo and his first Inning struggles. The neverending Story.

And they walk and walk and .... 4 Walks in 2 Innings Not good

Wang, not really a Strikeout Pitcher (0.5 K per Inning) has now 4 K's in 3 Innings.

well
Wang is usually in more trouble when he strike out people on a good clip. the main reason seem to be that it's his plan B, his plan A is 95% sinker down, when that's working he won't get the Ks, he usually go to the K mode when he's sinker's off.

a well played game for the most part though, this whole series, both side really gave it all and there was a serious playoff feel to it with all the agressive moves.

still though, that final 3 innign was just a disgrace for the Tigers. 2 kids combining for lses than 20 inning in the bigs completely butchered them.
