Hello Bless You Boys

I'm new too this site so I'm hoping to share opinions with all of you about the Tigers.  I've been a fan since around 2003.  I'm a Minnesota Viking fan, yet a Minnesota Twins hater all in one.  Weird, I know!

I haven't been keeping up in the off season lately because of the NFL season but I'm looking to grab anything new on here.

I'm thinking Brandon Inge should become a bigger part of the lineup.   What do you guys think?

Welcome!

Thanks for joining up. We look forward to your participation in the little community we’ve tried to build.

Bringing up Brandon Inge is a good way to stoke the fires of discussion. When you say “bigger part,” what do you have in mind? I think he’ll certainly be more important to the lower third of the batting order, with Laird and Everett not bringing much power. He’ll need to boost that batting average to prevent that part of the lineup from becoming a black hole.

Sorry

I meant bigger part of the team. I know last year he caught but, so far, what do you think his role will be on the field. Will he be the third basemen or what? Let me know, thanks.

I liked Inge as the super utility last season

but he looks to be pegged back in as the 3B this season.

I saw him peg a KC baserunner from deep center on Opening Day and I was in love.

I know he makes way too much money, and he doesn’t have a lot of value at the plate but he does know how to handle the leather and he has a hose for an arm.

Third base

Sounds good to me. I think the kid is for real at the corner.
