Tigers Bloggers on the Radio!
I'm not giving you guys much lead time on this, but when something exciting happens for a Detroit Tigers blogger, it's certainly noteworthy. Bill Ferris of The Detroit Tigers Weblog will be a guest on WDFN this morning, appearing on Sean Baligian's show at approximately 10:35 a.m. This could be a semi-regular gig for Bill during the season, so fingers are crossed for him.
If you're in the metro Detroit area, you know you can tune into 1130 AM. Those outside Detroit, you can listen to WDFN via internet stream at wdfn.com.

Big Bucks ($$$) Players not worth a hoot!
I tend to think Mike Illitch must be fit to be tied that some of his new multi-million dollar players can't seem to hit their way out of a wet paper sack. How dissapointing it is to see a team with so much promise not even get out of the starting gate with a few wins.
The Tigers are getting into a deep hole that may take all season to fight their way out of -- if they can. I am sad to see how badly the new so called "championship season" is starting out.
If the Tigers go to 1 and 10 maybe it is time for upper management in Detroit to begin looking for a real manager for the team. I have just never liked Jim Leyland since he walked out on Colorada a few years ago. Maybe he will just walk out on the Tigers because they are losing. That was his response to losing in Colorado.

Great job!
Bill was great on the radio, if you didn't get a chance to listen. Sean had him on for about 15 minutes. If and when 'DFN posts the audio via podcast, I'll post a link.
