2 Down and 1 to go

Grilli and J. Jones are gone.  Hopefully Miner is next up for the axe.  I do agree that Sheffield has no business playing defense-it does nothing but increase his chances of serious injury.  No he hasn't come around at the plate this year, but I feel that it is only a matter of time.  Big Clete Thomas, Thames and Rayburn are 3 perfectly good candidates for the LF position or a rotation of the slot.  I haven't heard much about the guy they brought up for RF, but it's a rather large risk after being swept and going into a 4 game series against Boston followed by another run against the Yankees and Twins-lets hope this pans out as Dice K, as well as the rest of the Boston pitching staff are on top of their game.
