Game 147: Tigers @ White Sox -- POSTPONED
Detroit Tigers at Chicago White Sox, Sep 12, 2008 8:11 PM EDT
** UPDATED at 8:45 p.m. EST

It took about a half hour after the scheduled start time, but tonight's game has been postponed, due to rain.
As you can see from the BYB Doppler 2000, green stuff (which I am told means rain) is covering what appears to be the entire midwest. So it's wet. Too wet to play baseball. It's now a good night to watch a movie. Take that Netflix disc that's been sitting on top of your DVD player and give it a whirl. Here at BYB HQ, we'll be watching In Bruges.
No announcement on when tonight's game will be made-up, but with tomorrow's FOX-dictated start time of 3:55 p.m. EST and an 8 p.m. first pitch for ESPN on Sunday, I'm guessing we'll have a doubleheader on Sunday. (And that could mean you'll have something to distract you from having to watch the Lions' home opener. Thank you, Mother Nature!)

Unbelievable
Who knows when the fracture developed, but if it’s been there, how does the Tigers’ medical staff miss that?

went all the way over to chicago tonight for the game only to arrive to a cancellation. its sad but im hoping that tomorrows double header gets rained out so we can make it back that way on sunday. whats even more sad is that we will have a couple extra tickets and no one wants them…….. guess the bandwagon is almost empty now……
