Around SBN: Missouri Survives Scare, Louisville And Marquette Roll

According to Twitter Scott Sizemore fractured his tibula Thursday

I am not seeing this anywhere else. Just on USAToday as they referenced Twitter. Is this old news and I missed it or the story hasn't been broke yet? This could change things how the Tigers approach the offseason. I bet they offer Polanco arbitration now. I wonder what kind of offers Placido will get in the offseason? There are actually quite a number of decent second basemen in the league. Except for the teams in the AL central, Calaspo is about the only decent one if Polonco leaves.

On the plus side

We may have found a starting gig for Ryan Raburn… at least in the short term.

Big league experience is overrated

Who would you rather have- Juan Pierre or Jason Heyward?

It would also help if he could actually, you know, hit

We may give a few runs back with the glove, but we’ll gain a whole lot back on the bat.

Hopefully he doesn’t show any regression in the progress he made this season in the minors and his excellent AFL stint.

Per @allikazzo

DetNews story quoting DD: “It’s a setback in that he won’t be playing in the Arizona Fall League, which has another month to go, but the recovery should only take about six weeks,” Dombrowski said. “He’ll probably be in a walking cast. He’ll be fine in a very short time.”

What's a tibula?

The two bones of the lower leg are the tibia and the fibula :)
