And now, it's a bit too close for comfort at the Metrodome. Jason Kubel crushed a ball into orbit to cut the Tigers' lead to 3-2. Zach Miner took over for Rick Porcello and loaded the bases on a single and hit batsmen, but retired Matt Tolbert on a fly out to centerfield to get out of the jam.
Tigers 3, Twins 2 going to the seventh inning! Insurance runs, anyone?
