Wasn’t a lot of the Tigers success in early Sept b/c they Leyland was using his bench all the time … I know he won’t do it … but technically Avila is one of the “guys that got us here”.
Only put him in if we're down or tied...
We need Laird to continue to call the game… Plus with out wild bullpen, it only helps.

it comes down to execution… I don’t think Jim was wrong to leave miner in this game
Eh, I understand the reasons but there isn't any more baseball if you lose.
You use your best in critical situations.
My anger towards Miner
really comes towards the fact that I didn’t think it was the right decision to take out Porcello in the first place.

I don't know what kind of cereal Leyland was eating in the 6th
But Miner is just not a clutch pitcher. You bring in Fu-te and Lyon for the clutch outs
Miner has been clutch before..i dont like em, but he's been clutch
The problem is that we have 3 runs. We had opportunities to score more and should have.
Also remember that one of the twins runs was given as a present by Kid Rick
I find it disgusting how some of us are just giving up here...
these guys ALL season have played nine innings of baseball. I know lately we haven’t been winning but I don’t think they have ever given up. Nor do I think they are just going to curl up and die.
