Game 163 Extra Innings Thread #3

There's a baseball game going on in Minneapolis tonight.  It actually started earlier today.

Follow along with us, won't you?

Tigers 5, Twins 5 heading to the bottom of the 12th inning.  (After the Tigers squandered a massive scoring opportunity.)

I will say that it was even less of a grazing than the Huff HBP. Given that there’s no sound and the pitch was in the middle 90’s that’s a tough call to make.

Bottom line: bases loaded and less than 2 outs HAS to equal runs.

The squandering finally caught up with the Tigers.

Not bad for a team that was supposed to be at the bottom of the standings, though.

I’m going to go cry now before any of those polite Twins fans come over here and offer congratulations, because I’d just be mean to them and feel bad about it later because they were much nicer than their douchebag team.

Go Yankees (for one series only) and go Dodgers.

No second guessing tonight

I could drive myself crazy thinking about every chance we had tonight or all season long. This was a great game and the Tigers for the most part over-achieved on the year. Strong top 3 in our rotation coming back next year and plenty of in-house candidates for the other two spots.
