What A Game
Hey Tigers fans, Jesse here from Twinkie Town. I just want to say thanks for a great game, that was quite possibly the most intense, amazing game I've ever been witness to in my life. It's a horrible cliche', but it is a shame somebody had to lose. Both sides had heroes today. Both sides fought hard.
Wish us luck against the Yanks and we'll see you next year. Congratulations on what can only be described as an incredible contest of two very well=matched teams.

Jesse - seriously, I wish I could shake your hand
That was a hell of a game, continuing a wonderful rivalry.

Agreed
Had the Tigers rolled over and died, or given up after falling down 4-3, I would feel much differently today. But they fought and fought hard and in the end, it just wasn’t enough. I don’t look down on this game, rather I’ll remember it for a long time as one of the best games I’ve ever seen, along with the game 4s of both the ALDS and ALCS in 06’.
If there is one team in the central I have the utmost respect for other then the Tigers, it’s the Twins. Had we lost to the White Sox, I’d be furious. If we had lost to Grady and Jhonny over in Cleveland, I’d be furious. KC…now that’s just because they’ve yet to be a winning team in my lifetime, so I can’t imagine it…
But yeah, congrats to you and the Twins and good luck. I hate the Yankees and the Red Sox and wouldn’t mind the Twins beating both teams and shutting up the league about the “weak” AL Central.
Hopefully the Tigers will get better in the offseason and once again, we’ve got another race between our two teams next year for the post season, while the Sox roll over and die.
