Go Twins?

Well, i think i can speak for just about everyone here in saying that i am pissed, exhausted, disappointed & just generally blah today.  But life goes on, i guess... & there is always next year, as a Cubs fan would say.  Before we start thinking about next year, though, we have to sit through this year's playoffs, all the while wondering "what if".  And that brings me to my question:

Will anyone here be rooting for the Twins?

Personally, i will be.

Part of it has to do with "AL Central Pride", or whatever you'd like to call it.  All throughout the second half of the season i've had to listen to nothing but how bad the AL Central is & how none of the teams in the AL Central deserved a playoff spot & blah, blah, blah.  I'd like to see Minnesota go into New York & spank the Yankees just to show everyone that the ball that is played in the Central is just as good or better than the ball they play in the East.

The other part of it has to do with the fact that i respect the hell out of Minnesota as a franchise.  Of course they've got some players that i despise ('Nard Span & Nick Punto anyone?)... but i like Gardenhire, i like the way the Twins play & i like the way the organization is run.  I hate the Twins during the 9 (or 12) innings they're playing the Tigers, but not the way i hate, say, the White Sox.  I just plain hate the White Sox... all the time.

Just one hung-over Tigers fan's opinion... what's yours?

No

I will be rooting for the Yankees to knock the Twins out first and foremost, even though I despise the Yankees.

And then I will cheering for the Rockies.

I don't have a signature.

I'm not in the mood to watch baseball right now

But hopefully I’ll be back by the Championship Series. And I like the Angles for a few reasons (NL style ball, they aren’t the Yankees, Twins or Red Sox, and the Adenhardt tragedy).

I root for the Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings and yes, the Lions.

I was hoping for you tigers to win

at least you had a history of beating the yankees in playoffs unlike the twins. they seem to roll up and get destroyed whenever they play New york in postseason. What a disappointing game 163

If you dont like me please ignore me and my posts

The Pirates,Reds,Royals, and Padres are not major league teams

I'm on the outside for this one, I imagine.

Fuck the Yankees.

Sort of fuck the Red Sox. They’re less demonic than the Yankees, but I don’t particularly care for them. Especially sans Sean Casey.

Fuck the Twins. I know, they were white hot down the stretch and finally got to us. After 163 games of loathing them and the infernal Dome of Ridiculous Advantages I just can’t bring myself to giving a rat’s ass for them.

Leaves me with the Angels in the AL. I don’t harbor any kind of hatred for them, but I don’t necessarily love for them either. John Lackey is one amazing pitcher though, he continuously reaches down and finds pitches that I didn’t even know he had still.

I don’t really care for the AAAA league (National League for you hosers), but out of them all I’m pulling for the Dodgers simply because of the nice local rivalry there. It’d make for a nice WS.

Watching an NL game is so different.

Not just because of a pitcher hitting but because the line ups are so much weaker.

I won't start the healing process...

until the cute and cuddly Twinkies are gone, and the hellhole is closed for baseball forever.

That is all.

Let the healing begin!

Is this legal?
I don't know. It's fun, though...
