Per Gammons- apparently there's a Tigers source who says that Mr. I would never allow a fire sale. Lets hope he's right.

A firesale wouldn't make any sense.
Any financial losses in 2009 and 2010 could probably be made-up in in 2011 by keeping the payroll lower.
Considering how Mr. I wants a World Series so badly
I, too, doubt there is a fire sale. A re-evaluation of salary and possible player shifts for a more sustainable salary? I believe that could be so.
