Phil Nevin new AA Erie Manager
"On Thursday, former Tigers third baseman Phil Nevin was reportedly hired to manage the SeaWolves in 2010. Nevin will succeed Tom Brookens, who was hired in October as first base coach by the Tigers after two seasons as Erie's manager."

Slightly surprising
Considering they had been consistently hiring from within for this spot the past few times they’ve made a hire….typically the Whitecaps end up needing a new manager as a result!
