Some interesting names on this list for the rotation or DH spot. Chad Gaudin? Chien Ming Wang? Jack Cust? Think it would be worth signing any of these guys?

I'm surprised the White Sox aren't re-signing Carrasco.
He seemed like a good long man, even though his stats (other than ERA) aren’t spectacular.
We could take him on...
But we already have about 47 relief candidates…

would be good … or better than Thames and from the left-side. Even if he only assumes Thames role (whatever that was) its always good to have somebody who takes pitches/walks and has power. Not gonna solve everything but if cheap why not …
