If you can't be the best...be the worst!
Link is to an ESPN insider story by Jay Jaffe of Baseball Prospectus where he rates the best team of the decade, as per stats like the HLF calculations that drives that site's in-season power rankings. The 2001 Mariners stand at the top, but, as we could probably have guessed, the 2003 Tigers are the worst team of the decade, with the 2002 Tigers close on the heels of the infamous 2003 edition.
