It's another three team trade

So probably not Detroit. :(

Hold it right there.

We don’t know that. Everyone is busy focusing on the Granderson trade that was mostly complete last night, Detroit could have been the waiting third party to jump in.

hmm

its not the mariners or the angels http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/12/cubs-close-on-milton-bradley-trade.html

and the rangers and rays are out … that only leaves 9 teams not the Tigers … for some reason I am thinking Boston to counter the Granderson deal …

more "updates"

This guy(the jays mlb.com writer) says the Jays “are not a fit” http://twitter.com/MLBastian/status/6479305053
and this article mentions a tema official who said he “isnt going west” http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20091208&content_id=7776212&vkey=news_chc&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc

For whatever all these reports are worth that leaves NY, Baltimore, Cleveland, Chicago, KC, Minnesota, Boston … I now count 7 other teams that are not Detroit

Could it be the Twins?

They could platoon Kubel and Bradley in right/DH. The Twins don’t have a bad contract to swap though, if that’s the goal.
