BYB Talks to SethSpeaks.Net Tonight - Take Two

This didn't work out last week, but  Seth Stohs of SethSpeaks.net says he's ready for his AL Central preview show, so I'm scheduled to appear on his Minnesota Twins Weekly Podcast tonight on BlogTalkRadio.  The broadcast will begin at 10 p.m. EST.  I'll be on approximately 10 minutes after the hour.

I'm not sure who the other AL Central bloggers will be, but we'll be talking for about 10 minutes apiece on our respective teams.  That should be enough time to bring up how many BYB readers hold serious grudges toward the Twins, right?

You can listen to the show at BlogTalkRadio.com, but if you miss it, a download of the show will be available later on for you to peruse at your discretion.

Once again, the show begins at 10 p.m. EST.  Hopefully, you can tune in.  Thanks to Seth for inviting me.

Twinkies

I think you could do a subliminal message thing like Kevin Nealon used to do on SNL.

“Brandon Inge is a pretty athletic twinssuck 3rd baseman!”

Verlander

Now that he’s back in our good graces again after an ace type showing today. No more wondering if he’s still got it. He definitely stepped it up a notch today.

Read It and Weep

Ian picks Cleveland to win the Division, Detroit next, Twins, Royals, White Sox. 88 wins for the Tigers.

We’ll see.

Uh-oh

And now, it’s posted for posterity.

By the way, I’ve picked the Tigers to win the last two years, and look where that got them.

Thanks for listening!

say it ain't so Ian!

haha I like the reverse jinx, though. I think the Indians are going to be in the running for it, too.

Right now, our bullpen looks pretty good. If the starting pitchers come together, and we can string some hits together, we just might go to the front of the line.

Solid Stuff

Still don’t like to see those Indians about the Tigers but couldn’t argue against it.

"Bless You Boys" was the catchphrase used by former Detroit sportscaster Al Ackerman when reporting a winning Tigers score.
