Printthis move will make Thames the full time DH or Ordonoz the full time dh.....This is a move that im happy with.....The Tigers couldnt afford to keep Shef around and watch him not produce anymore.....always was a fan of Shef even back to his days in Milwaukee.....I wish him well and hope soeone gives him a chance but his contract was just way to much for his production.

Can I change my vote on Thames. My guess is that he will still be with the Tigers on April 3, 2009.

…….I think he sticks around…..I do think Anderson will be the everyday lf and bat leadoff and that Guillen will be the dh……This way Granderson will bat 5th or 6th….Love it!!!!

I hated when they brought Shef in in 2007. He was garbage last season. And it looks like DD knows what to do with garbage!

Gullien DH’s. He has broken down the last two seasons and this hopefully will help keep him fresh.

Guillen to DH
He can’t play all year in the field. And now the Tigers have a myriad of options for the outfield, including Thames, Anderson, Raburn, Clete…
