It looks like the planned '84 Reunion is running into some trouble getting the guys back in town for the proceedings. Check out the link for full details, but I just had to post this quote from Lou Whitaker:

And now this -- Lou Whitaker, serving as a spring training instructor, said on Thursday that he probably won't be attending.

"I'm not going to leave my house, fly all the way to Detroit and come back the next day," Whitaker said. "Lou don't roll like that.

You can stay at my house for a week and I’ll take you out to dinner every night. I can show you an autograph you signed for me when I was about 16 years old and about 2 dozen of your rookie baseball cards and hundreds of others. Spiderdad will roll with you for sure.
