What A Warrior....
….Did enough to keep his team in the game.

I must agree
as bad as he might have been last night, he did improve (not by leaps and bounds) by enough to keep us in the game. If his next start is even a bit better, we’ll know he still has some of it.
I have booked a ticket on the D-train, but my schedule looks pretty rough. We’ll have to see if I can make it.

Come the fall
Dontrelle will be more of a positive factor to this team than Armando.

Good ole Dontrelle
He may not be doing very well but he is going to give you everything he has when he is out there; hopefully he’ll at least be decent further along in the season.

Leyland looked like he really wanted to yank him
But Dontrelle was not about to go quietly. It was quite obvious that he kept saying he was all right and Kevin Rand tried to talk him out of the game, but D wasn’t havin it. The fact that he talks to himself doesn’t bother me a bit and it is quite amusing and it’s fun to watch him. He still has the competitive fire in him and that’s a positive thing to have.
"It's designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything is new again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops, and leaves you to face the fall alone". A. Bartlett Giamatti
