Zumaya is a vulture, no shark, wait maybe Bill Clinton.

Has anyone else noticed that Zumaya has 2 wins this past week and the only thing that he did was give up the game tying run and walk off the mound!!!

This pisses me off, maybe we need another stat for when you give up the lead and your team fights back to get you the win.

Tell me what you think or maybe I am just blowing this out of proportion but I'd like to see any W gotten this way changed to a WL (for the SNL comedy skit of Bill Clinton stealing everyone McDonalds and saying WARLORD!!!!)

I don't care

A win for Zumaya is a win for the Tigers.

I guess....

Possibly for compulsive Gamblers as well.

The fact that Lyon is still with the team still seens to defy all reason, but at the end of the year if your team’s pitchers have many more wins than they have losses all is right with the world.

Just another mis-leading stat.

I know it’s probably the most critical from a team standpoint, but win-loss record, ERA and K’s can be some of the most mis-leading stats for a pitcher, especially out of the pen. I’m usually more concerned with their WHIP or BB/Walk ratio, those are harder to get around and still be successful.

I was at the game on Sunday

when he walked a batter home. Zumaya was pitching in the high 90’s but he kept throwing balls. All I can say is thank God for Clete’s grand slam that day or it would have been loss because Zumaya’s non-control issues. I am pretty sure he did the same one time before Sunday and then again yesterday. It appears he needs to work on control or something. Who cares if he can throw into triple digits if he can’t throw for strikes.
