Figaro To Pitch Saturday.....

Dontrelle going onto the dl and Figaro will be recalled from AA Erie on Saturday......They say its the anxoity disorder again......Im not sure if thats it but none the less hes on the dl and Figaro is being recalled.....He is 5-2 with a 4.10 era with 59ks and 17 walks in 68 innings.....This moves seems to be temporary.....however if Figaro pitches well who knows......GO TIGS!!!!

Dombrowski was in Erie I think about a week ago. Probably checking out the pitching and some of the prospects.

Saw Figaro a few times when he pitched for the Whitecaps......

and he looked great against Low A competition. However, there have always been some questions regarding the legitimacy of his numbers. I hope it works out well. I hope he can find a way to give us at least 1 quality start. But starting against the Brewers is no easy feat. Good luck Alfredo!

……I like pitchers who work the bottom of the zone….thats what he does.

Uncertain were I read it...

But, the article stated that this doesn’t look to just be a spot start and that Figaro will be the 5th starter till he shows he’s not the guy or something better is found.
