BYB on 'The Benchwarmers'

Here's the audio from last night's appearance on "The Benchwarmers" (from Toledo's WSPD 1370-AM).  The Tigers game ended just in time for my appearance, which set quite a mood.

Mostly, we talked about how the next six weeks or so will look for the Tigers.  Why do they play so badly on the road?  How does that Aubrey Huff trade look so far?  Who loses out in the roster shuffle?nbsp; And does anyone want to win the AL Central?

You can download the clip here or listen at your leisure.

Thanks to Jim Kushlan for inviting me back onto the show.  He, Don, and Matt make it lot of fun.  Hopefully, we get to talk again during a meaningful September for the Tigers.

Nicely done

You sounded wise but not smart-ass and realistic without being cynical. You should smoke more.

Thanks, guys

I always think my voice goes about an octave higher, due to nerves. But that doesn’t necessarily come across on the radio. (Mom notices, though.)

Bondo's numbers are encouraging

because he actually has good stuff—his slider was (and hopefully is) FILTHY

As for Robertson, 8 innings 8 hits = he will get hard in the majors

Not too bad

It’s worth keeping some hope alive.
