PrintWe're in the bottom of the 5th, score 3-2 , trying to settle the emotions after the third inning. The bats started to heat up in the 4th. Eddie's looked okay tonight and got through some innings, which is exactly what was needed tonight. Hopefully the boys can keep it together and win one for Ernie, as the Twins won earlier today.
Things are looking better than last night at least. We've avoided double plays (on their errors but who cares)! Grandy got a hit! Against a lefty! OMG!

I was at a Jays game a couple of weeks ago

well, hitting a walkoff home run in a tie game when your team is up 3 games to 0
resulted in a great memory, but it wasn’t as if they rallied from behind in game 7 on the hit either.

After some of the terrible and downright horrific years since 1987 to 2006
That home run was a great moment; let’s not bemoan it being not as special because of the situation.
Just saying
we’re giving all the credit to the guy with the final hit, when the teammates did a lot of getting him to that point. Team effort, not an individual one.

That's kind of how things work with people though.
I mean, in football no one really applauds all the dirty work offensive lines do on a regular basis. Team effort but the spotlight is a perception dictated thing.
