I wish the photo they got of Rick was better.. but here it is, mostly to showcase the fantastic dress.

Rick

I like the coordination of the pink beads with the dress. It’s a perfect match – he’s very well coordinated.

Thank you, Alli

Great shots—-and funny as hell. Alex Avila and Ryan Perry in particular don’t look all that bad. I’m sure Rick looked great in that dress and that that’s just a bad photo. I wonder who it is that’s in what looks like a cheerleader costume in parts of certain shots. Although I think the clown is Wilkin Ramirez, not Fu Te Ni’s interpreter (I think Mario and Rod said that they dressed up Ni’s interpreter as Robin).

And another thing...

I didn’t know Alfredo Figaro was THAT muscular. He certainly doesn’t look like it on the mound.

glad everyone's enjoying..

I didn’t think mlb.tv would show rod & mario’s comments right before the game started, and that’s when most of these were shown.. luckily when I went to watch the archived game, there they were!

I just hope they didn't put any of those guys in heels.

Can’t risk an ankle injury this late in the season. And Casey Dien looks like they’re going to have a hard time getting that outfit away from him.

HAHAHAHA

I’m so glad I didn’t see this until just now because it made me smile on this very dark day as a Tiger.

the rookies are holding their own—shoulda had the whole team dress up like women except cabrera cuz they’re all swinging the bats like women…shoulda got matt holliday
when he was available…note to inge and granderson…hit the ball where its pitched..quit trying to pull everything..their early season power surge has them thinking they are homerun hitters..im so sick of these guys trying to kill everything instead of team ball..guy on 2nd..hit the ball to right side of diamond and move the runner over..and why is thames even on the team..dead weight

Is it just me

Or does Alex Avila look like a woman in that outfit? You know, besides the 5 o’clock shadow…

How does Avila manage to still look bad-ass in that get-up?

I think that’s another rookie on Avila’s left in the red.

The thought just occured to me

One of these days some veteran player is going to videotape some of these rookie hazing antics (like making them walk around the airport in that getup) and stick the video on Youtube.

I wish they had shown more (and better) pictures. Curtis Granderson was nice enough to post a picture of last year’s rookie hazing on his blog. Hopefully he’ll do that again this year.
