PrintHere's a question to ponder as you bask in the afterglow of this win (and I work on a recap). Who's more responsible for tonight's Tigers victory over the Indians: Rick Porcello or Jhonny Peralta?
Peralta had more errors than Porcello allowed runs. Think about that.
And with the White Sox win over the Twins earlier today, the Tigers gain one game on their AL Central lead. Not a bad day of baseball, altogether. Recap to come.

Our cherry crop this year is legendary.
So many survived there wasn’t capacity to hold or ship them all.
Plus Washington is #1 in hops production in the US.

A job that has been Fu-Te Ni’s for most of the summer became Casey Fien’s on Tuesday. Fien didn’t seem to mind carrying the pink bag.

I heard that after the game in Minneapolis today, when the reporters came into the locker room, Paul Kornerko threw his hat on the floor and shouted, “We own this place!”
I give him a couple points for that. .
Just finished watching the FSN Final Score
They showed the footage of the back-to-back home runs the Sox hit. Man, Hawk is irritating even when you WANT the White Sox to win.
