Leyland is sentimental.
He also likes junk food and smokes. I often hate his decisions then go back to loving him. So much crazy!
I was just thinking today.
There have been maybe two moves he’s made this year that I’ve cringed at, but otherwise he’s been a great manager for this team. If for nothing else, the way he worked with Magglio earlier in the year. Played it just right.

ATTENTION TO THE NEW PEOPLES
We’re planning on going to a game together next summer at Comerica – I think the leading candidate right now is Saturday, July 3rd. A group I know from a hockey blog did the same thing this past season – we got together for a game on Friday night and then walked to Greektown for dinner afterwards, and it was a blast.
The more the merrier, so keep it in mind!

Possible to get in Saturday, maybe with frequent flyer miles even, crash one night in a hotel room, and back home on Sunday so no one has to miss work.
