Once again, the Tampa Bay bullpen has been generous, blowing a three-run lead and letting the Tigers tie the score in the seventh inning.  Bobby Seay just pitched out of a jam to keep them in the game.

Tigers and Rays tied 6-6 going into the eighth.  Who's lookin' like a hero?

The Rays are pretty much done.

They have almost no chance and must play desperately for a win so they will sew together the parts of not so good pitchers and trot their monstrosity out there to hurl a few innings and then get chased out of the state by the five fans in attendance with pitchforks and torches.

It has a ball and a bat. But it’s faster (although I guess they came up with a new version of cricket called twenty twenty where a game can be completed in a few hours instead of days).
