This scares me.
Dave Dombrowski told me tonight they are focusing on the back end of the bullpen and did not deny an offer to Valverde and a willingness to lose their #1 pick.
“Focusing on the back end of the bullpen”? I’m pretty sure that is not what he should be focusing on. I’ve always been a pretty big fan of DD, but between the sub-par return for Granderson and this little nugget, I might start sharpening my pitch fork soon.
