Hmm, if only there was a player that we could sign to fix that… like JOHNNY F*CKIN DAMON.

For what it’s worth, Replacement Level Yankees blog runs simulations using his own personal projections and the initial ones were released and has us 4th in the division at 74.5 wins.
My plan is to wrap up the Saber 101 (FIP up next then WAR) and use CHONE projections, my own playing-time estimations (mostly for bench players) and compile AL Central division projections.

I’d love for everyone to know that CoPa isn’t the pitchers haven it’s made out to be.
Ha. I’ll give it some thought. Not sure how much I could put out since there aren’t universally-cited park factors. B-Ref’s I suppose.

that guy sucked. Seriously, though, PECOTA is generally pretty savvy. Interestingly, it’s got the Yankees finishing 3rd behind the Rays and Red Sox.
How accurate are these projections usually?

last year whiffed bad on the NL, nailed the AL well enough. One of the rare places that didn’t think the Tigers sucked.
