U-M's Cervenak signs with Mets

If you check out the story on Mike Hessman's signing with the Mets, you will also see that the Mets signed Mike Cervenak to a minor league contract. Mike is 32 years old, primarily a third baseman. He is from the Detroit area, and played college ball at the University of Michigan.

He holds many hitting records at Michigan. He has been knocking on the door trying to get to the majors for soem time. He was in the Orioles system, and last year played in the Phillies system. He also played in Asia. If you know him, you know him to be a really great guy. We wish him the best!
