I got a little confused about that, too, so I just went with the countdown on the Tigers' website
I do know this: There are now 46 days until Opening Day

damn it.
I was hoping someone I already know and like would get 36, which is my lucky number. hopefully brad thomas will be worthy of it.
It could be worse
My lucky number is 17, and that’s Rafael Belliard, which is nothing to get excited about.

Call me easily amused but...
I love how you always see like three or four guys with the same number in spring training!

I thought that's usually guys coming from the minor league camp
Nobody on the 40-man or the NRI list shares a number.
More numbers
Gustavo Nunez, # 73
Wilkin Ramirez, # 60
Now there’s two guy that don’t need to wonder where they stand.
Meanwhile, Dontrelle Willis is wondering why he was reassigned # 92
He was?
Why would they make Willis change his number?

To match the number of dollars he’s made per pitch in a Tigers uniform?

Exactly. Nate has been a lousy pitcher over the life of his extention.
Dontrelle Willis has been a supernova of suck. Big difference.

Um
Nate’s going to be good. D-Train will continue to be a fountain of suck.

Eh. I don’t like 37 for Scherzer. I don’t know why. I didn’t like 39 for him in Arizona, either.

They need to change Bonine

They did have Casey Fossum bridge the gap, if I remember correctly
Fossum wasn’t exactly spectacular, but…

I'm talking awesome
so nobody brings up Jason Grilli and his multitude of suck anymore.
