Official Bless You Boys Fantasy League update!

Hey all, just wanted to update you on the Official Bless You Boys Fantasy League (earlier post here).

We filled all 12 spots over the weekend with a good mixture of BYB regulars and newcomers, as well as fantasy league newbies and veterans alike. The big thing that makes everyone start on a bit more even of footing is that this will be the first auction league for all of us.

Without further ado, here the participants:

1. Me!

Team name: Superior Monsters

I wanted to participate in an auction and never had the chance. But since CBSSports.com's Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League makes it so easy to set one up and run one, this is a great chance to do something new. I don't know how I'll finish but I do know I won't overpay for Albert Pujols!

2. StringTheory

Team name: Little Green Men

This is my first auction league, so my I'm trying to research and develop a coherent numerical plan. It will probably fail miserably, but I have no problem bringing up the rear.

3. Detroit.Rock.City

Team Name: Zumaya's Zips

I plan on being in the mix for a league title from Opening Day till October, and it will all start with my $31 point bid on Austin Jackson based on spring training stats alone...(maybe not quite $31). Looking forward to a great season with fellow Tiger brethren. By the way - my request is Roto Scoring

4. Zappatista

Team name: Chunga's Revenge

 I fully expect to win. What else?

Team: Charlotte Zombies

In the immortal words of racing legend Ricky Bobby, "If you aint first, you're last."

Team name: Ohio Tigers

No idea how well i'm going to do this year, but I'm pretty excited to (hopefully) show all of BYB that when I post about making trades or signing guys that I know what I'm talking about!

Although Chris did post on the official forum:  " So...which of you guys is going to come in second?"

Our draft won't be held until near the end of March as some people (coughAlli) will be out of town (coughLAKELAND) so we wanted to make sure everyone could participate.
