It's almost like real baseball: Brewers 3, Tigers 2
Are the Tigers in midseason form? Well, in the eighth inning they managed to turn three consecutive hits into no runs. That's not easy to do. So Milwaukee kept its razor-thin lead and held on to win by the same score.
The more things change, the more things stay the same. It's almost like real baseball.
In any case, Max Scherzer took the loss while also earning the quality start with the final line of six innings, three runs allowed and four strikeouts. The bullpen was near perfect behind him.
Curtis who? Austin Jackson led off the first inning with a home run. Brandon Inge had a homer, too, for the Tigers' other run.

murrajo wins again, due in part to summing things up nicely right at the end of the game thread so I didn't have to look for it.
a decent game but that 8th inning squander was way too familiar

Love the caption...
and I’m liking Max.
My prediction for him is that he’s going to start a bit slow, but develop some steam as he continues to figure some things out.

I think so too
Hopefully he turns into the 1b starter that Porcello was towards the end of last season.
if he stays healthy, he should
Projections really like him and put him almost the same level as Verlander

I think it's about more than health
we’ve seen the big adjustment pitchers have to make going from one league to the other. Hopefully he can minimize that.
AND HIS GLOVE POSITION IS SO WEIRD RIGHT THERE!
have I mentioned before that Max’s mechanics are goofy?

I think this is the first game I missed since spring training started.
