I didn’t know he threw that hard? I thought he kinda sucked. Anyone know if he did anything in the off season (training, HGH, ?). Or could this just be some generous hometown radar gun?

I read somewhere that pitch fx confirmed the Zoom pitch at 102 (I think it was 103 on the scoreboard).
He's consistently in 95-97 range on gameday, too.
And that’s a separate radar gun from the one used for the Royals telecast. He hit 95+ like 10 times last year, and most of those came in his last start. Might’ve found some extra velocity. I’d be interested if he’s sped up his delivery at all or something of the sort.
