Mystery pitch for Zumaya?
Joel Zumaya is working on a mystery pitch. Ok, I'm super curious now. What's it going to be?

I vote for the StopServingUpHomers pitch.
Thank goodness he doesn’t need it yet this year!

Does anybody remember Armando's mystery pitch?
He threw it during his rookie season to David Ortiz and struck him out looking. Basically he just lobbed the ball over the plate while using a normal windup.
That was pretty sweet. The look on Ortiz face was priceless.

Forget the "mystery pitch" you speak of
Does anyone remember WTF happened to Armando Galarraga?
Seriously though, I hope it is something old school like a palmball.

the Leyland Special
Just when it crosses the plate, it blows tobacco smoke in the batter’s face and he misses.

Science nerd and proud of it!
Splitter at 96?
Or how about a nice screwball, breaking against all his other pitches and adding even more likelihood for an injury

His arm would snap like Bill O'reilly if he tried a screwball
I bet its a slider, but a kick ass Circle Change would be dominate.
