AAA: Louisville 7, Toledo 4

Ruddy Lugo had another mediocre 5 inning outing (5.2 technically). He gave up 4 earned runs on 9 hits (one homer) and 3 strikeouts. Daniel Schlereth went 1 inning, giving up 1 hit and 2 strikeouts. Wilkin Ramirez was 2-3 with a walk and a homer.

AA: Trenton 8, Erie 3 (from yesterday- late game)

Thad Weber went 5.2 innings, giving up 8 runs (6 earned) on 9 hits (one homer) and 3 walks with 6 strikeouts. Zach Simons threw 1 hitless inning, striking out 1. Audy Ciriaco and Justin Henry were both 1-3 with a double.

Trenton 12, Erie 7 (today's game)

Ramon Garcia went 6 innings, giving up 6 runs on 6 hits (4 of which were homers) and 6 strikeouts. Luis Marte pitched a hitless inning with a strikeout. Andy Dirks was 4-5 with a double and a homer- he's doing a lot better than last year (.337 wOBA) and if he can still play CF may be a legitimate prospect. Audy Ciriaco was 2-4 with a homer and a double.

A+: Lakeland 7, Dayton 4

Luke Sorensen pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits (1 homer) and 1 walk, striking out 3. Miguel Mejia went 2 innings, striking out 2 and allowing 1 hit. Chris White was 2-4 with a double.

A: West Michigan DNP (all-star break)

SS: Lowell 6, Connecticut 1

The Olde English C's got beat up by the Spinners. Clemente Mendoza didn't do badly- giving up 4 runs (2 earned) in 5.2 innings. He did so on 7 hits and 6 strikeouts. Robbie Weinhardt, on a rehab assignment, gave up a hit and a walk while striking out 1. Jeff Rowland was 3-4 with a double.
