I'M ON VACATION FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS!!!!

I can think of a great way to start it off, too!

I'M (ESSENTIALLY) ON VACATION FOR THE SUMMER!!!!

Exams are done, marks are in… it’s all over but the cryin’ (theirs, not mine, although with a few more runners stranded in scoring position, I’m sure I’ll be reaching for the Kleenex box).

I’ve been bad lately — I don’t think I’ve listened to much in the way of baseball for the past week or so. Playing in a tournament last weekend burnt me out on baseball a bit, I think.

here was ugh

thanksgiving week schedule:

work 4 a.m. 4 a.m. 4 a.m. day off 4 a.m.

I wasn’t sure whether to wake up at 330 on thanksgiving just to stay normal or sleep 10 hours to catch up on what I missed.

Friday sucked. I was in front of the computer before the black friday shoppers were out!

our wonderful manager was there today

so having missed my recent success at the plate, he batted me last, with the three girls in front of me.

went 2-3 with two runs scored (led off 2 innings and batted second in one). it helps when the guy hitting second in our lineup hits two out-of-the-park homers when you’re on base.

we lost 24-23 because the other team was purposely taking walks instead of swinging. at one point four straight people walked (on close pitches) without even swinging their bats.

Thinking of a game from April '07

Halladay v. Bondo. He yanked Bondo after 9 innings and 96 pitches. Halladay went 10 and got the W. Bondo could’ve gone back out for the 10th, too. Maybe it’s something with JB. He took him out too early in the World Series, too.
