Justin Morneau? Srlsy?

The latest voting update for first base in the All Star game has Justin Morneau taking over the lead from Mark Teixeira. This cannot stand! Actually, it cannot stand that either of them plays first base in the All Star game. But Morneau has 973,563 votes, Teixeira has 931,405. And Miggy? 659,965.

Today is an off day. You know what you have to do. Go here and start voting. You get 25 votes a day for every email address. Miggy deserves to be the All Star first baseman. Teixeira is only batting .211, and Morneau plays for Minnesota, which means he is dead to me.

We did it last year for Inge, we can do it this year for Miggy! (And then we can hope it doesn't have the same affect on the second half of the season.)

…is doing terrible…Migy will catch him…Id say Justin is more seserving then Tex thats for sure.

At least you could make a case for Morneau

He’s having a good year. I don’t get why Mark Teixiera is so deserving (I’m saying this and I actually like the Yankees better than I do the Twins). I still say Miggy’s more deserving than Morneau, though. The strange thing is that 99 times out of 100 it seems like the guy who finishes second in the fan vote ends up on the team through the player vote, and if that holds true, Teixiera would be on his way to Anaheim anyways. It’s starting to look more and more like the Tigers will have to settle for the one obligatory player and no more, and it may not be Cabrera. But if not Miggy, then who? Valverde?

The all star game is for the fans...

…anyway…People vote in who they like in all the sports all star games which makes the game pointless…I never complain about it becasue it is for the fans and we vote in who we want.

Just did my 25 for Miggy that makes 100

We gotta get Miguel Cabrera as starter for all star team – c’mon gang – It’s a pain in the ass but I did it 25 times in under 6 minutes. Fourth time I’ve voted the maximum.
