I know it was in the news a few days ago. With the Tigers in the playoffs I’ve lost touch with other sports news.
My impression of the Silverdome from a few events there was basically that it should be torn down. It was the most awful stadium I’ve been in. But if they can turn a turd into something nice, that would be good.

Seriously, I’m not happy that JL decided to move Miggy up in the ALCS when it should have been done a while ago. However the bats have been dead in the postseason, so I can’t complain if the boys start hitting.

is fine if you’re swinging at what you expected. I think they’ve done a good job working counts. It’s a fine line and if a pitcher is in rhythm, there’s a few ways to go with it; but I like hitters being aggressive with the pitches in their zone.
Whole different deal swinging at stuff you weren’t looking for in the first place.

The strikeouts are what kill me...
We scored a ton of runs, but what I can’t take is 180 K’s from the leadoff spot, and the 1 game a week we strike out 14 times. At least put the ball in play, we make pitchers like Bruce Chen look like JV some days.
