A blown read on the TD run by Colter and a hold on the long play of the drive didn’t help. NW’s offense is legitimately good, they’re going to score some points tonight. And our D isn’t as good as the numbers suggest. I’m oddly calm about both of tonight’s games and THAT makes me nervous.

and I’ve already accepted that the Northwestern O will shred Michigan for some yards and points. I just hope Colter doesn’t go nuts. The Michigan coaching staff should know by now that his arm is worse than Chuck Knoblach’s.
It's not that they won't lose
They might, and they’re going to at some point. It’s that they’re clearly better than they were in the first couple games. They make adjustments as the game goes on. That is the difference between this year and last (and 2009). We’re in good hands with this coaching staff.

My youngest sis (the vet) sees a LOT of obese animals and the problems that causes. She constantly has to try to explain to owners that they can’t count on most dogs to self-regulate their food and if you give them more food than they need they just keep eating.

I have a complicated formula for determining which team to root for once the Phillies are eliminated. The Tigers are generally near the top. Upper Midwest teams usually do well, lack of familiarity/contempt helps.
