Cubs open to dealing Matt Garza
This is not a new development, but Tim Dierkes of MLBTradeRumors.com now believes that he can be had for a package of mid-to-top level pitching prospects, as the Cubs are looking to restock their weak pitching pipeline.
With all of our mid-level pitching, do you think it would be smart to consider dealing for Matt Garza? Even if not, a little rosterbation never hurt, especially during the dull weeks leading up to the December 5th Winter Meetings in Dallas.

I'd pass
not a huge Garza fan… but I guess I’d have to know the exact return the Cubs would want
No longer the Founder, President and CEO of the Ryan Raburn Fan Club
I probably would pass, too
the Cubs probably overvalue him, but it would be interesting to hear the asking price. I’ve heard speculation about the Rangers being interested and Martin Perez’s name was being thrown around.. It’d be interesting to see if Theo just wants to restock the arms in the system with guys like Oliver/Smyly/Crosby.. even at that I’d rather keep the farmhands.
Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual
not me...
how can you not be a fan of garza?? he is proven and hitting his prime! the guy had a 3.32 ERA pitching for the Cubs! already pitched in the al central and east. i say go get this guy if he available.
