Uh oh, Indians match best start in history
You read the title right, our division rivals have matched their franchise record for the best start. Justin Masterson is making the Tribe faithful forget that Cliff Lee used to be in the rotation, and Fausto Carmona has had all quality starts except for two, and he looks like a 19 game-winning pitcher again. They have 7 hitters with 4 or more home runs, Travis Hafner is hitting .353, Asdrubal Cabrera leads the team with 21 RBI's, and Shin-Soo Choo is a legitimate 5-tool outfielder. This franchise, that has been around since 1915, has seen some pretty good teams and players. After the Indians last series (whom they played shall not be said) they left the solitudes of Cleveland to take 2 out of 3 from Oakland. My question to you, Tigers fans, is this team a real contender? Will the Tigers overtake them for the division lead? what month do you think this will happen?
However, the Indians aren't the only ones playing good baseball..Unless you live under a rock, or just are not a real Tigers fan, you know that after the Tigers have been swept two series straight, they took 3 of 4 from the Yankees. Max Scherzer, Rick Porcello, and even Brad Penny had good starts in this series. Justin Verlander had a bad two innings, and was dominant through four. I think the Tigers will overcome the Indians middle of June. Am i wrong? Your input is appreciated.

The tigers usually peak around interleague play.
That’s when they will make their run. Also when our lineup gets clicking we will be fine. I say it might take awhile for us to pass them, but it is common in the central for a team to take off and then fizzle. Don’t fret we’ll be fine.

Cleveland might be better than anticipated
Watching this team play made me worry a little bit. They have some good players on offense: Choo is an all star. Asdrubal Cabrera is a good top-of-the-order guy. Brantley seems capable of hitting .300 and is a decent complimentary player. LaPorta seems to finally be developing.
Those four guys alone aren’t worth squat, but the Tribe also has a healthy Grady Sizemore and a useful Travis Hafner so far this year. Add in those two, and your lineup now features 6 bats that are decent or better along with potential in Santana (Hannahan and O. Cabrera still stink). Six or seven decent bats can be enough in to score four or five runs a game.
Pitching has overachieved so far. Tomlin’s success is smoke and mirrors, while Masterson won’t keep this up for much longer either. Carmona is a 4.5ERA pitcher, but that’s not a big assett. After that it’s just a hodge-podge of guys that probably won’t amount to much this season.
I fully expect their pitching to let them down, but that offense looks decent to me…for now. I think their offense is only an injury or two away from being back down to 4 decent bats and 5 suckholes.
However, if they stay healthy and one of the young pitchers steps up, I think they’re at least someone to add to the mix.

What's that mean ??? They won;t reach 35-5 , so i'm not scared
I think they will be 2009 Tigers , but they lost 1st place before Trade Deadline.
However if they reach Postseason , they will lost all three games in series.
