ESPN projects Jacob Turner starting for Tigers on Wednesday
Turner is listed as the projected starter for Wednesday's game against the A's. No reports have come out yet, so their guess is as good as anyone's.

I really hope this isn't true
He’s doing well in AA, but it’s not like he’s dominating right now or anything.
(channeling my best Chris Crocker) Please just leave Jacob alone.

that's what's confusing me
ESPNs commentators may drive you nuts, but the nuts and bolts facts like that they don’t usually make up.
Then again as matt snyder tweeted, wouldn’t someone over there be going crazy tweeting the breaking news of a top prospect getting called up?
oh so confusing.

awesome
Only because I will be there tomorrow. And awesome on the condition that this is his only start in the majors this year.

I really don't mind this
If he’s brought up tomorrow, he’ll make 1 or 2 starts before the trade deadline. DD is almost assuredly going to bring in a pitcher of some point. So, if that happens and Turner is effective at all he might just get shoved to the bullpen and help solidify the middle innings. If he’s not quite ready, he’ll get sent back down. I’m willing to take the chance on 1 or 2 starts, I can’t imagine that would ruin him for his career.
