I don't care what the Chinese say, 2011 is the Year of the Tiger!
Only 6 Latins
Only 6 Latins today – Guess we are save from Rod making a stupid comment on his national gig
This Chicago series on deck is huge.
After they finish their current series in Cleveland, the Black Sox have a tough row to hoe:
July 22, 23, 24 @Cleveland
July 25, 26, 27 Detroit
July 29, 30, 31 Boston
August 1, 2, 3, 4 New York
August 5, 6, 7 @MInnesota
- By 8/7, the Tigers may be established as the team to beat in the ALC, which I think they are. By the end of July, they will either be buyers or sellers, with the series vs the Tigers a big determining factor. Taking the broom to Ozzie in his own back yard could seal their fate as he walks the plank for the rest of the season. The lineup is good. Now get some consistent pitching from Rick and Max, and we’re in like Flynn!

Interesting stat from Tom Gage
#Tigers going for 12th straight win over #Twins – haven’t beaten any team 12 consecutive times snice the St. Louis Browns in 1910-11

HIT
The Tigers are going to have to figure out Baker to win this one. Penny doesn’t look good today.
