still losing, that sucks. Brad Penny seems to last a lot longer into games than you would think. Helps the bullpen, I guess.
I hate Brad Penny
He pitches slowly.
He gives up big innings.
He seems to have an attitude problem.
He doesn’t strike out nearly enough batters.
That said, I don’t mind him as a fifth starter.

He isn't pretty
but he gets the job done.
If the line-up wasn’t full of suck and don kelly in the 2 hole we might have some runs and a shot at winning this game.
He was kinda set-up for failure on this one.

Brad Penny's velo has kicked up, on average, 1 MPH per month.
And he’s above his previous month’s average of 93 thus far in the game at about 94.
He pitched awful in April when he was throwing around 91-92.
So it’s not all velocity related. But, I can’t really defend him. His K’s have declined, BB’s either stagnant/increased. Coupled with increases in some bad luck and he is struggling.

I think Captain Marlboro put today’s lineup together and then flipped it upside down just to f*ck with people.

tonight, he is the starting pitcher… for the missions.

Man, the more I look at that schedule the more I realize how weird the unbalanced schedule is
I guess it helps the AL Central in the long run but it’s still weird to have to play so many divisional games at the end of the season. i feel like we’ should’ve played the Indians a lot more already.
