U of M auctions Tigers items for charity

Eight Tigers items are up for bid, including an autographed program featuring Al Kaline, and autographed picture and baseball from Alex Avila, and six other autographed balls from the likes of Brandon Inge, Jose Valverde, Victor Martinez and Justin Verlander.

Noel Cimmino, the director of the fund-raiser, wrote me:

The MGoAuction is an online auction of primarily Michigan sports memorabilia whose proceeds benefit a series of undergraduate scholarships at UofM including the Bernard "Pat" Maloy Cancer Scholarship, the Shelly Kovacs Scholarship which is awarded to incoming freshmen with financial hardship and the Governor's Scholarship which goes to seniors who have held student leadership positions at Michigan.

So, go do your thing. See if you can get yourself some nice memorabilia and help a good cause at the same time.
