Tigers that should be Hall of Famers

heres my list and my reasons Allan Trammel (4 gold gloves 3 silver sluggers 6x all star) Jack Morris( 254 wins 5x all star 3x world champ) Bill Freehan( 5 gold gloves 11x all star, considered as one of the best Al catchers in the 60's) Lance Parrish( 3 gold gloves 6 silver sluggers 8x all star, considered as one of the top catchers in the 80's) Lou Whitaker(3 gold gloves 4 silver sluggers 1978 AL ROY 5x all star over 2300 hits) Mickey Lolich(3x all star, world series mvp, holds franchise record for most strikeouts and AL record for most strikeout by a left handed pitcher)

The Tigers should start their own HOF club.

We got enough guys getting snubbed at Cooperstown to do. They can call it the New World Order or NWO.

Give me Tram and Lou for sure

Freehan, Lolich and Parrish I’d like to debate a bit, but they might have a case.

Morris can drop off a cliff for all I care. I’m sick of hearing about his record.

My list

Tram, Sweet Lou, Freehan, and Lolich. Not sold on Parrish or Morris as HOFers. They were good, but I don’t think they were worthy.

Years ago...

I remember reading a suggestion, perhaps in a newspaper article, that Alan and Lou could/should be in the hall as a keystone combination. Their careers were so tightly tied together all the way through the minors through 1984 and beyond that I think it would be a neat idea.

I read about that in a Bill James book too

It seems like a cool idea. Paging the Veterans Committee…
